The odds on the favourite are usually lower. For example, Team B winning might be decimal 1.50 = fractional 1/2 = American -200. Here a ৳200 bet returns only ৳100 profit — total return ৳300.
Bet slip — how single and multi bets work
When you click on a market, the selection is added to the bet slip on the side or bottom of the screen. Type in your stake and the potential return will be calculated automatically.
Single bet example
In a limited-overs cricket match, Team A has odds of 1.80 and Team B has odds of 2.00. A ৳500 bet on Team B returns a total of ৳1,000 (including ৳500 profit) if Team B wins. If Team A wins, the ৳500 is lost. This is the simplest single bet.
Placing multiple selections together in the bet slip creates a multi bet. The odds of all selections are multiplied — if one loses the entire bet is lost, but if all win the return is much higher.

If all three selections win, a ৳100 bet returns ৳403. If even one loses, the entire ৳100 is gone.
A multi bet (multiple selections together) offers a higher potential return, but the risk is also greater — if any selection is wrong you lose the bet. So think carefully about each selection before placing a multi bet.
There are two roles in a betting exchange. Say Team A has decimal odds of 2.50 — if you BACK (expecting Team A to win), a ৳500 bet returns ৳750 profit if Team A wins; you lose ৳500 if they lose. If you LAY (expecting Team A to lose), your liability is ৳750 (৳500 × 1.50); if Team A does not win you collect ৳500, but if they win you pay ৳750. Commission applies on the exchange.
